Starting White Line Interiors

I started my freelance business in 2018 after previously working for large companies in the design industry for the past decade. I gained much experience and knowledge by working for interior design and architect firms throughout South Africa, which I would recommend to the designers out there who are either thinking of studying design or who are currently working for companies and wondering whether they should freelance.

One of the biggest challenges of being a freelance designer is of course the competition of other designers out there and how to sell your design ideas to potential clients and stand out from the design crowd. Working from home as a single mother and trying to juggle both parenting and working as a freelancer has been challenging at times. But the one thing that keeps me focused is my ongoing passion for this industry and that it is forever evolving with new ideas and concepts from all around the world.
